It is both my belief and my lived experience that all children can learn and excel at the highest level with the appropriate supports, guidance, and relevant learning experiences. With over 30 years in Education, I have served in all levels of leadership and across functions, including administration, operations, finance, and teaching and learning. I am currently OCPS’s Deputy Superintendent, serving 212,000 students across 200 schools, leading 24,000 employees, and managing a budget of more than $1 billion. At every step of my career, I have been guided by an unyielding commitment to equity and a belief that every child deserves a fair shot to reach their potential.
