Margaret Crespo

Superintendent in Residence at Women Leading Ed

With more than 25 years of educational and administrative experience, Crespo is widely regarded by her peers in education leadership. Margaret has been a superintendent, teacher, counselor, assistant principal, and principal at the secondary level.

Prior to joining ILO Group, Dr. Margaret Crespo served as the former superintendent of Laramie County School District 1 in Wyoming. Prior to Laramie County, she was area superintendent for Boulder Valley School District in Colorado. She also spent time as Boulder Valley’s assistant superintendent for secondary school leadership. In the Thompson School District in Loveland, Colorado, she held the roles of secondary director, chief academic officer, and chief operations officer.

Education

Margaret earned a bachelor’s in history and a master’s in counseling from Montclair State University. She received her doctoral degree in educational leadership from Arizona State University.
