Dr. Ian Saltzman

Superintendent of Everett Public Schools

Ian B. Saltzman is a twenty-nine year employee of the Palm Beach County School District. He has been privileged to hold the following titles: Exceptional Education Teacher at Loggers Run Middle School, Assistant Principal of Lake Worth Middle School, Principal of North Grade Elementary, Carver Middle School, Palm Beach Central High School, and Lake Worth High School; Area Director of Accountability, Transformational Area Superintendent, Area 5 Superintendent, and currently South Region Superintendent.

Highlights of Dr. Saltzman’s accomplishments include:

  • Increasing North Grade Elementary’s school grade from “D” rating to “A” rating
  • Increasing Carver Middle School’s school grade from “C” rating to “B” rating
  • Increasing Palm Beach Central High School’s grade from “C” rating to “B” rating
  • Increasing Lake Worth High School’s school grade from “D” rating to “A” rating
  • Lake Worth High School was the only Intervene High School to be taken off from
    the state list in one year

Dr. Saltzman has a passion for all students reaching their potential and fulfilling their
dreams.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Florida
State University, a Specialists Degree and Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership
from Nova Southeastern University.

When Dr. Saltzman is not working, he enjoys family time with his wife Robyn, who is an
educator, and his beautiful twin girls, Isabelle and Samantha. He also enjoys watching
sports and attending local live theater.
